This website was envisioned and written by Mark Alvar Peck, a 19 year old student from Boston, Massachusetts. Mark has long had an interest in, among other fields, communications, computer technology and the social impact of the two on people everywhere. As a world traveler and citizen of both the United States and Finland, Mark has see first hand the power of mobile communications in countries across the globe. It has been during his annual three to four month stays in Finland and abroad during which he first gained an interest in mobile rights, a term he coined for the subject when designing this website. In December of 2008, Mark decided to publish his long-time thoughts and frustrations with the American wireless industry here on this website, in hope of Informing fellow Americans on why they need to stand up and demand mobile rights today. He is committed to this cause and will continue to develop and add to this website for as long as possible.
